This years homemade gifts turned out to be just for the kids. I made everyone of my neices and nephews a set of 5 finger puppets. (5x12= 60) Each of them got a 'theme'. Some were Farm animals, some were Garden Creatures and others were Under the Sea. My favorite set had to be the Waterton Animals. I suddenly got the flu about 15 minutes after the kids opened theirs so I wasn't able to really see the reaction to them but, I was certainly proud of them.

The thing that made the puppets really come to life is the board books that go with them. I had them 60% done before I came out here but never got a chance to finish all 5 of them before Christmas so, as soon as I get home each family will also be getting a book to go with thier sets. Each page has a little scene to match each set. I'll post more pictures as soon as I have them 100% done.
